April 9th is upon us! This Saturday, the Let Us Never Forget Scholarship foundation holds its annual dinner and fundraiser. Monies raised at this event are key to the number and amount of scholarships that will be given in the next year. This year, there will be a record number of Gold Star parents attending the celebration of their sons and daughters lives. Several of the parents will be making presentations. Entertainer, James Rogers, is also on the program. When not working his “one man show”, Mr. Rogers can be seen at Dollywood in Pigeon Ford, Tennessee. Rounding out the program are local performers, Steve Haber and the Ken Waterman Band. Anthony Muñoz and professional auctioneer R. J. Vilardo will be back to conduct our live auction. We have some wonderful “packages” to offer to the highest bidders. The Bass Pro Shops have donated a sportsman’s (or sportswoman’s) dream package. Cincinnati Bell has donated the 3rd Base Suite for a Reds game with parking, food and drink. Charlie Daniels has sent us a registered American Paint horse (a very unique package). We have dining, shopping, jewelry, signed prints, a laptop and so much more. See below for a detailed list of the live auction items. There are simply too many items in the silent auction to list.
